Room to Read Japan will again participate as a recipient organization in the Tokyo Marathon 2025 Charity, which will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025!
世界中のランナーを魅了してやまない「東京マラソン」。2025年の東京マラソンの走行権を確保すべく、チャリティランナー応募期間（6月後半～7月初旬）には世界中のランナーから応募や問い合わせが殺到しました。厳選なる抽選の結果、ルーム・トゥ・リードでは当初予定していたスロット数に加え追加スロットを確保し、世界21か国から164名のチャリティランナーを迎えます！
The Tokyo Marathon, which never fails to captivate runners from all over the world, has attracted a surge of applications and inquiries from runners around the globe during the Tokyo Marathon 2025 Charity Runner application period (late June to early July) as they strive to secure running slots for the 2025 event. As a result of a rigorous selection process, Room to Read was granted extra slots and will welcome 164 charity runners from 21 different countries, exceeding our initial plan！
ルーム・トゥ・リードは、東京マラソン2025チャリティランナーからのご寄付を通して8,000名の子ども達へ教育を贈ることを目標としています。
Room to Read aims to provide education to 8,000 children through donations from the Tokyo Marathon 2025 Charity Runners.
チャリティランナーは自分自身での寄付の他、ルーム・トゥ・リードが提供するクラウドファンディングページを通して寄付を募ったり、企業マッチングを駆使したり、バンド演奏等の趣味や特技を通して寄付を募ったりと様々な方法で8,000名の教育支援という目標達成に向け、挑戦を続けています。
Charity runners are actively pursuing the goal of supporting education for 8,000 children through various methods. In addition to their personal contributions, they are raising donations through the crowdfunding page provided by Room to Read, leveraging corporate matching, and utilizing their hobbies and skills such as musical performances to gather donations. They are committed to achieving this goal.
